  • I got the maxima in a silver 2018 sv and I got to say this car runs great. The interior is nice and the seats are some comfortable and the in side looks great I love it.

  • Nissan needs to offer a standard 5 speed a/t or 6speed m/t option. Fuck cvt

  • This car should have economy level of equipment-2.0 unleaded with 140 HP for ex.and manual transmission…I really don't understand crazy americans with 300 hp cars

  • Honestly it’s easy to hate the CVT is because everyone else does but in reality guys it’s 2018! They continue to get better every year. Yes I love a dual clutch who doesn’t but the maxima gets moving quickly and sounds amazing. I like this car a lot, honestly they should add awd version, they also should consider adding a dc for certain models like the SR. I wish they would figure how to add a sunroof all while keeping he center low. I love this model. I pray they don’t mess up this design when the mid cycle refresh happens. Just add new LEDS, make it a tiny bit better but don’t mess with the looks. The inside is fly as hell, Nissan could step it up a tiny bit when it comes to the head unit but I think it’s does the job fine.

  • I'm looking to lease a new car and test drove the Maxima. I really want to like this car but it just doesn't feel as spacious inside as I'd like. One thing I noticed during a brief drive in heavy traffic is that I wish the car felt a little quicker. It feels a tad mushy when I hit the throttle to change lanes and the engines revs higher than seems to be necessary. Perhaps this is the CVT at work and it takes some getting used to. There is substantial engine noise too (imo). One great thing about this car is the base model is loaded. I love the cloth seats. The backseat lacks headroom because of the way the roof is swept down. Good looking car in it's own way. I'm between the Maxima and Chev Impala, which really surprised me with its performance. Bigger car and much more roomy inside. Decisions, decisions

  • I do t know why everyone hates the car tbh. I have the 2013 sv with the cvt and it doesn't really drown at all. Unless your driving on a racetrack you wont notice any difference between the cvt and a regular auto.

  • Do not buy a Nissan. Only Nissan use fixed code for smart start engine system. It is for an auto theft to buy signal hacking device that makes copy signal to unlock the door and start engine. So, Nissan cars have been targeted by a car theft. For example, more than 10 Nissan cars were stolen in a day within 1 mile Frankford@Marsh Lane in Dallas, TX, 75287. One of them were stolen in front of Walmart. She just stopped by the Walmart to buy some goods. After she shopped, she found out her Nissan Maxima was stolen. 2016 Nissan Maxima and 2017 Nissan Maxima, 2015 Nissan Juke were stolen in one apartment-Gardens at vail apartment around this place. Especially, 2016, 2017, and 2018 Maxima have been stolen a lot recently.

  • I have a 17 model and I think the CVT kicks butt. If you haven't driven the new Nissan CVT you don't know what you are talking about. Its always in the power band, and the exhaust sounds pretty nice too!

  • While the design of this Maxima is head and shoulders better than the ugly , 'design fail' that is the 2018 Camry, not sure how Nissan is basically $10,000 higher across the board on ALL trim levels compared to the Camry. ?!?

Also the wood accents look nice since they are angled! 🙂 Pretty awesome that you have established such good connection to the dealers that you get constantly new cars to test! 🙂
